The company’s 4 retail stores – in Piraeus, Athens and Glyfada- stock any wine, spirit and beverage that is imported or produced in Greece as well as a massive selection of more than 2000 wine labels. We designed three editions of the brand’s annual product catalogue (2015/16/17). We followed a minimal, contemporary approach in all three occasions, by using earthly tones and keeping the design simple, clean and structured, in order to provide space for the products to speak for themselves. The company provides its customers with specialized technical services and efficient project management. We were asked to design the logo and the 64-page corporate catalogue of the company. We considered a design with geometric shapes that are usually found in architectural structures and create bold and impressive compositions. We designed a modern catalogue based on gray and white with impressive geometric designs, clearly capturing the character of the company. We were asked to redesign their corporate identity and their website and to create an advertising short film to present a more current image of the historic tavern. The concept behind the brand refresh was to achieve a balance between the nostalgic, traditional atmosphere of the location and the present. We tried to give emphasis on the tavern’s history. We created a modern logo respecting the existing aesthetics. We designed a website in warm colors and blended modern graphic elements and easy-to-navigate. Our basic idea concerning the script of the promo video was to highlight the tavern’s history throughout the years.
