LIPASMATA FESTIVAL

In a wonderful location, in the emblematic and historic industrial area of Lipasmata (eng. Fertilizers) in Drapetsona with the preserved facilities and the characteristic tall chimney but also the sea that reaches almost up to the stage, a cultural institution has been established, the “Festival by the Sea” also known as “Lipasmata Festival”.

The once abandoned space has gained life again. Every year since 2017, for about 4 months, the area becomes an attraction for thousands of visitors from Greece and abroad. Dozens of musical and theatrical events take place at the site and all are for free.

We were assigned by the Municipality of Keratsini-Drapetsona, organiser of the Festival, to design the logo for Lipasmata as well as the website. The hand-made (and then digitally transformed) logo that we have designed based on the Municipality’s brand colors, aims to express the artistic soul of the festival.

For the website we chose again an artful layout which enables the user to wander easily and pleasantly through photos of past events and the announcements for the upcoming. Since 2019 our team designs the posters for all of the events hosted at Lipasmata.
